Supply Chain Friday is founded by Harriet Hamilton and launched online in April 2025!

Supply Chain Fridays is an education resource that provides individuals with a community to network, learn and connect with industry driven insights and professionals.

Supply Chain Fridays has a mission to: "Empower, Engage and Embody Knowledge" the individuals of its community.

Harriet Hamilton Background and Story:

Harriet Hamilton is a business strategy and operations professional focused on delivering solutions that optimize global distribution efforts and transform complex value chains through the application of advanced analytics and technology. Harriet has invaluable expertise in leading cross-regional supply chain and warehouse-based initiatives that have created multi-$MM bottom line value for large global corporations.

Harriet is currently a Supply Chain and Network Operations Consultant at Deloitte with leading expertise in technology implementation. Prior to Deloitte, Harriet spent years at INVISTA, a subsidiary of Koch Industries Inc. leading supply chain strategy and commercial logistics initiatives.

Harriet holds a MS in Supply Chain Management and specialization in Data Analytics.

Harriet has led the following major projects:
- Deployed a "Vision-to-Value" strategic network model that streamlined $50MM+ of corporate business value by identifying and optimizing transportation and logistical cost-to-deliver (to customer) global shipping routing for a large-scale Nylon Polymer and Polypropylene manufacturer, a subsidiary of Koch Inc.

- Led the system application transition from MS Office licensing to G-Suite across 2 North America corporate sites at a a multi-$B global aerospace manufacturer (Wichita, KS & Mobile, AL).

- Onboarded and streamlined automated invoice processing methods with RPA for a Technology Solutions department at a higher education institution (approx 23,000 students).
